Stockbreeding conditions and veterinary follow-up

Stockbreeders’ obligations and daily veterinary livestock follow-up

All farmers and livestock breeders need to comply with sanitary regulations, issued by local administrators or veterinary services offices.

Animal vaccination is therefore compulsory in order to protect ducks and geese during their growth.

Quite often, producers gather into production groups and benefit from on-going technical advice.

Whenever necessary, animals are given a check-up at veterinary laboratories.
Any time a farmer notices a problem with an animal, the latter is checked by a veterinarian and all treatments include a veterinary prescription.

All this information is registered in sanitary and breeding summaries, carefully stored by stockbreeders.

Breeding practices are all documented
